About Catherine Wagner Minnery


Catherine is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, ans graduated from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and the University of Cincinnati.

"I am constantly inspired by the natural world; the sunrises and sunsets, the ordinary upstate NY landscape that I see on a daily basis," says Catherine. "Of course, I also am deeply moved by the majestic; the rivers and streams and mountains that are part of this landscape".

She has been a resident of the Saratoga Springs, NY area since 1990 and a member of the Piermont Flywheel Gallery since 2004. Her studio is located in Schenectady, NY.

About Chris Averill-Green

Chris Averill-Green has been exhibiting her artwork in galleries and museums in upstate New York for over 40 years. She received her B.A. in Art from Russell Sage College  in Troy N.Y.and her M.S. in Art Education from the College of St. Rose in Albany, N.Y. Recently she received the 2010 Purchase Prize at the Cooperstown National Juried Exhibition.

She has studied with notable artists such as Stanley Bielen, Catherine Kehoe, Michael Oatman, Barbara Mungall, Bill Wilson and Langdon Quinn. Her stylistic range varies from impressionistic to abstract images. Chris' work is in galleries and private collections throughout the east coast and California.
